Babysitting Fun!
We offered our friends Kathryn and Jonathan to babysit their little girl Karlie so they could go out on a nice date. They think we are such nice people to do such thing, they just don't realize how much fun we have hanging out with her.
She loves going to the park so I decided it would be fun to go to one... of course we didn't end up going to the one I was planning on going to because I couldn't really find it; but as we were looking for it (in the wrong direction) we found the one we actually went to. She had a good time swinging and sliding. And since she is the only niece I pretend to have, we took some pictures because she is just SOOOOOO cute!
Notice how "staticky" her hair gets when she is on the slide!
The pictures aren't that great because they were taken with Dustin's cell phone, but you can still see how adorable she is!Everytime she saw me holding the phone she would say "cheeeeese" and smile big at the camera! We love little Karlie! Thanks J and Katee for letting us spend some quality time with her! :)

My favorite things- Part 1
I know I'm not Oprah and unfortunately all of you who read this blog will not get all the items I post, but I decided it would be fun to share some of my favorite things since I don't have anything interesting to say.
DVR
If you have one or Tivo you know what I'm talking about! I can't believe I survived without it for so long. I absolutely love my DVR! You don't have to watch commercials anymore, you don't have to miss your favorite show... it's great! One negative thing: You do end up watching a lot more TV than you should.
Smoothies
It's been so hot in Las Vegas and there's nothing more refreshing than a fruit Smoothie! I tried Juice it Up! a couple of months ago and loved their options. It's better than Jamba Juice, Keva Juice and Tropical Smoothie!
Juice it Up! has different sizes so if you don't need 24oz. you can buy a smaller one. I can't say enough how yummy their smoothies are! To find a location near you go to: http://www.juiceitup.com/ (I feel like they should be paying me to advertise).
Mary Kay® Ultimate Mascara
Exclusive, all-in-one formula delivers long, thick, voluminous-looking lashes. And it has Smart Wiper™ technology that delivers the exact amount of mascara you need for maximum plumping – without the clumping!
I copied that from their homepage because I thought it was funny! "Maximum plumping - without the clumping" hahahaha. All jokes aside, I love this mascara! Yes, it's a little bit pricier than the stuff you can buy at the grocery store but I promise it's worth it. It really doesn't clump!

Cub Scouts... AGAIN!
So, last Sunday one of the bishopric counselors wanted to meet with me and Dustin. Of course we knew no good could come out of that meeting. But since we had just gotten a calling, we thought it would be a talk... but Dustin had JUST talked last week... so we thought... they will ask ME to give a talk. I also wondered if they were giving me another calling and I thought to myself, I will have to say NO if they call me to teach Sunday School or cub scouts leader, since I had that calling in Williamsburg and did NOT like it!
After a lot of talking he finally mentioned that our names kept popping up when they were talking about this specific calling, but since we had just been called to be ward missionaries they tried to think of other people... WELL, they obviously didn't think hard enough because they called us both to be Cub Scout Leaders. Dustin looked at me right away when the counselor said that and I just closed my eyes and thought to myself "NO NO NO NO NO NO". Dustin said he would accept the calling but that the counselor would have to convince me to do it. SO, obviously I didn't learn my lesson (or was punished enough) when I had that calling last time so I'll have to do it again! Come on, I could not say no.
Funny thing is that we were released from being ward missionaries that same day when we had not even been set apart yet. They thanked us for "all our service"! Kind of embarrassing...I didn't look, but I bet the ward mission leader did not rise his right hand!
